Climbing ephiphytic vine with hairy rooting stems. Glabrous leaves to 165mm x 58mm with serrate margins. Several to many-flowered cymes with bracts to 10mm x 8mm. Purple-red flowers, calyx tube to 4.2mm long with 5 lobes to 3.8mm x 3mm, , dark red to deep pink corolla to 40mm long with a yellowish tube to 26mm lobes to 7.5mm x 8.5mm Capsule to 250mm x 2mm.
