Shrub or liana to 10m with tomentose branchlets. Leaves to 140mm x 75mm, pilose on midrib above & veins beneath. Axillary & terminal cymes or panicles to 150mm x 100mm with bracts & bractlets to 5.2mm long. 5mm long yellow-green or cream fragrant flowers, strigose or pilose yellow-green calyx to 5.2mm long with 4 lobes 1mm long, yellowish or white fleshy corolla with 5mm tube & 4 lobes to 4mm long. Yellow glabrous drupe 11mm x 8mm becoming dark red
