Liana or tree with hairy tetragonal branches. Leaves to 250mm x 120mm, pubescent above & densely hairy beneath. Terminal & axillary man-flowered cymes or panicles to 70mm long with bracts & bractlets to 15mm long. Pale yellow or white flowers, calyx tube 6mm x 3mm with yellowish hairs, 4 lobes to 2mm long, sulphur-yellow corolla with glabrous tube 5mm long & glabrous lobes 3mm long. Yellow-orange flshy glabrous fruits to 9mm x 9mm.
