Woody vine to 4m, tree or shrub with tetragonous villous branches. Coriaceous leaves to 125mm x 60mm, setulose above and densely villous beneath. Terminal & axillary many-flowered panicles or cymes of green, yellow or white flowers, villous calyx to 10mm x 6mm with 4 lobes, white corolla tube to 7.2mm long. Orange fruit to 16mm x 10mm with a persistent calyx.
