Fruiting Times
Large twining vine to 40m, very spiny but loses thorns on older stems. Leaves to 180mm long, 10-14 pairs of leaflets. Flower spikes to 60mm long, minute pale yellow flowers, calyx 1mm long, petals 2mm long. Glabrous black legume to 170mm x 35mm.
Stems give fesh water, stems & leaves have medicinal uses
