Large tendril liana with glabrate branches. 2-3 ternate leaves with simple tendril, leaflets to 150mm x 70mm. Axillary puberulous racemes with bracts to 3mm x 3mm, yellow flowers, 5-toothed yellowish-red calyx to 13mm x 9mm, corolla to 40mm long. 4-valved green woody capsule to 110mm x 60mm x 70mm
