Liana or tree with striate branchlets. 6-11 foliolate coriaceous leaves to 270mm x 110mm with simple tendril. Axillary racemes with bracts to 4mm x 3mm, yellow flowers with bracteoles to 4mm long, calyx to 17mm x 12mm, yellow corolla to 95mm x 30mm with tube to 70mm & lobes to 20mm. Black capsule to 220mm x 32mm.
