Tendril liana with hairy branchlets. Leaves to 250mm x 90mm with simple tendril, 10-13 leaflets to 100mm x 75mm. Terminal racemes with tomentulose bracts to 4mm long, of pale yellow to orangy-red flowers to 100mm long with 7mm lobes, 3-5 lobed calyx to 15mm long, glabrous corolla to 100mm long with tube to 30mm long, lobes 7mm
