Liana, striate branchlets. 2-3 foliolate leaves terminating in a tendril, coriaceous leaflets to 40mm x 35mm glabrescent above, villous beneath. Terminal tomentose racemes with a pair of voriaceous bracts 15mm long & bracteoles subtending the calyx. 5-dentate puberulous calyx to 14mm x 10mm.Yellow bilabate corolla to 35mm x 10mm, corolla tube to 18mm long, lower lobes to 10mm long, upper 2 lobes to 3mm long. Fruit to 110mm x 25mm
