Glabrous climbing or creeping shrub to 20m. Simple to 7-lobed leaves to 250mm x 250mm. Cymes to 200mm long, up to 50 flowers in male, 4-8 flowers in female with tendrils to 200mm, sometimes monoecious, bracts & bracteoles to 1.5mm, flowers white to pale yellow. Male flowers to 19mm x 4.5mm including 4mm long stipe, calyx lobes to 5mm long, petals to 8.5mm x 2.5mm. Female flowers to 11mm x 5mm ijcluding 1mm long stipe, calyx lobes to 5mm long, petals to 4mm x 1.5mm. Coriaceous orange or scarlet fruit to 80mm x 35mm.
