Subwoody climber to 15m. Entire or 3-5 lobed leaves to 110mm x 100mm, sometime variegated. Inflorescence to 50mm long, up to 20 flowered in male, 2-5 flowered in female, simple or trifid tendrils to 200mm long sometimes ending in adhesive disc, bracts & bracteoels to 1mm. Male flower to 14mm x 3.5mm including 4.5mm long stipe, sepals to 8mm x 3mm, petlas to 8.5mm x 2mm. female flower to 7.5mm x 3.5mm including 1mm long stipe, sepals to 5.5mm x 2mm, petals to 3mm x 0.3mm. Pale green to white flowers. Coriaceous green fruit 35mm x 25mm.
