Creeping or climbing glabrous herbaceous vine to 8m. 3-7 lobed leaves to 180mm x 200mm, lobes to 50mm. Axillary inflorescence of 3-7 in male & 1-3 in female, simple tendrils to 120mm long, bracts & bracteoles to 1mm. Male flower including 7mm long stipe to 19mm x 2.5mm, sepals to 9mm long, petals to 9mm x 2mm. Female flower including 1.5mm long stipe to 8mm x 2.5mm, sepals to 5mm long, petals to 3mm x 0.75mm. Coriaceous red fruit to 30mm x 20mm.
