Annual tuberous liana or creeper to 2m. Leaves 130mm x 45mm. Axillary cymes with simple or bifid tendrils, greenish to yellow flowers. Male flowers including 7mm long stipe to 15mm x 2mm, sepals 9mm long, male calyx 5-lobes 6mm x 1.5mm, 5 petals to 5mm long. Female flowers including 5mm longstipe to 12mm x 2mm, with sepals to 7mm. Bright red fruit 40mm x 20mm
