Glabrous slender twiner to 10m with tendrils. Entire to 3-lobed leaves to 150mm x 130mm. Axillary few-flowered cymes to 120mm long, 1-5 flowered in male, 1-2 flowered in female tendrils to 150mm long, bract & bracteoles to 1.5mm. Greenish flowers with whitish petals. Male flowers to 35mm x 3mm including a 12mm long stipe, 5-segmented greenish calyx to 8mm long, sepals to 17mm x 4mm, 5 white petal to 10.5mm. Female flower to 20mm x 5mm including a 7mm long stipe, sepals 9mm x 4mm, petals 6.5mm x 3.5mm. Coriaceous fruit to 120mm x 50mm.
