Caudiciform, monoecious glabrous scandent vine to 5m or shrub. Triparted or entire leaves to 75mm x 90mm with lobes to 30mm x 12mm. Few-flowered cymes to 50mm long with tendrils to 70mm long & bracts & bracteoles to 5mm long, up to 10 flowers in male, 1-3 flowers in female. Green calyx, white to pink petals. Male flowers to 20mm x 39mm including 16mm long stipe, calyx tube to 1mm, sepals to 10mm x 3.5mm, petals to 8.5mm x 3mm. Female flowers to 15mm x 3.5mm includinh 1.5mm long stipe with sepals to 9mm x 4mm, petals to 5mm x 1.25mm. Coriaceous fruit to 55mm x 35mm.
