Tall glabrous tendril twiner to 25m with woody stems. Glabrous coriaceous leaves to 150mm x 80mm. Inflorescence to 60mm long, leathery petals, green flowers, male flowers to 6mm. Red glabrous woody or coriaceous capsule to 60mm x 25mm.
