Tendril liana to 20m with coriaceous leaves to 140mm x 130mm. Inflorescence to 120mm long with up to 30 flowers in male, 2-5 flowers in female, tendrils to 150mm long and bracts and bracteoles to 1mm. Male flowers to 9mm x 5mm including 1.5mm long stipe with calyx tube 5mm x 0.5mm, lobes to 3mm x 1.5mm, 3mm petals. Woody red fruit to 40mm x 40mm.
