Robust liana with angular stems, coriaceous leaves entire or sometimes 3-lobed to 160mm x 140mm. Axillary cymes, simple or bifid tendrils. Male flower to 14mm x 4mm including a 4mm long stipe, calyx tube to 8mm, 5 lobes to 2mm, 5 petals 5mm x 1.25mm. Female flowers to 9mm x 5mm including 1.5mm long stipe, calyx tube to 5mm, lobes to 1.5mm. Fruit to 40mm x 25mm.
