Dioecious glabrous liana to 5m with tuberous roots to 100mm. Trilobed or entire coriaceous leaves to 40mm x 40mm. Greenish flowers. Axillary cymes to 60mm long, 1-2 flowered in male, soliatry in female with tendrils to 80mm & bracts & bracteoles to 1mm.Male flowers to 47mm x 3.5mm including stipe to 23mm, sepals to 18mm x 2.5mm, petals to 13mm x 3mm. Female flowers to 32mm x 6mm including 11mm long stipe, sepals to 15mm x 4mm, petals to 14mm x 3.5mm. Coriaceous fruit to 60mm x 30mm.
