Simple-tendril climber to 10m. Glabrous papery simple leaves to 180mm x 85mm sometime 3-lobed. Terminal or axillary panicles to 25mm long, up to 20 flowers in make, 1-3 in female, simple to trifid tendrils to 100mm, bracts & bracteoles to 1mm. Yellow to white flowers. Male flower to 8.5mm x 3mm including 3mm long stipe, sepals to 6mm x 2mm, petals to 6.5mm x 1.5mm. Female flower to 6mm x 2.5mm including 0.5mm long stipe, sepals to 5mm x 1.5mm, petals to 1mm x 0.25mm. Coriaceous green fruit mottled darker green to 20mm x 10mm.
