Herbaceous simple or bifid-tendril climber or trailer, monoecious. Trilobed glabrous leaves coarsely toothed leaves to 40mm x 30mm. Male racemes of 3mm greenish-yellow, sepals to 5mm long, petals to 6mm x 1.3mm, female flowers solitary or fasciculate, similar to male. Fruit a glabrous capsule to 25mm long x 20mm with scattered prickles
