Large deciduous climbing shrub with lenticellate velvety branchlets. Glabrescent leaves to 200mm x 95mm with serrate margins. 1-3 flowered inflorescence, pink flowers with 3-5 sepals to 5mm, 5 petals to 9mm. Velvety fruit to 20mm with persistent sepals.
