Large deciduous climbing shrub with glabrescent branchlets. Glabrescent leaves to 190mm x 115mm, Inflorescence to 7 flowers, pink flowers, 3-6 sepals to 6mm, 5 petals white on upper part, red below, to 17mm. Tomentose fruit to 40mm with persistent sepals.
