Large deciduous climbing shrub with lenticellate reddish branches. Mostly glabrous leaves to 140mm x 130mm. Solitary female flowers 20mm white to, purplish flowers turning yellowish at base, petals to 9mm. Glabrescent fruit dark brown to 30mm.
