Large deciduous liana or climbing and trailing shrub to 7m with glabrescent branches with yellowish lenticels, serrate mostly glabrous leaves to 150mm x 90mm with serrulate margins , Dioecious 3-flowered axillary cymes of fragrant 25mm white or cream flowers with minute bracts, 5 sepals 6mm x 5mm, glabrous outside with pubescent margins, 5 petals to 10mm x 7mm. Glabrate enticellate fruit grey-green, oval-oblong to 50mm x 35mm
