Woody climber or erect shrub to 2.5m with glabrous lenticellate branches. Leaves to 60mm x 15mm. Terminal many-flowered racemes to 120mm long with bracts to 2.5mm long & bracteoles to 1.5mm long of yellow flowers 17.5mm diameter, sepals 4mm long, yellow petals to 10mm. Winged fruit, samaras 40mm.
