Herbaceous twiner weakly scandent. Glabrous trilobed leaves velvety above, whitish beneath. Axillary velvety umbels with puberulous bracts, of 37mm indigo or white & purple flowers, blue-violet calyx. Follicles to 18mm long with persistent style.
