Herbaceous caudiciform perennial glabrous twiner with caudex to 100mm x 28mm, purplish glabrous stems. 3-parted leaves to 120mm x 130mm. Terminal or axillary racemes of up to 12 flowers, showy dark purple-blue flowers to 26mm with 2 bracteoles to 5mm x 0.5mm, dark blue pubescent sepals to 24mm, Petals with lip to 5mm & spur to 8mm. Erect follicles to 1.5mm long with persistent style to 5.5mm.
