Herb, shrub, lax shrub, vine or tree with glabrescent branches, lenticellate stems. Serrate glabrous leaves or pubescent beneath to 110mm x 60mm. Monoecous red, pale yellow or white flowers, terminal female spikes with small bracts 6mm x 8mm, 3 sepals, axillary solitary male inflorescence. Small pubescent capsule.
