Large prickly woody climbing or creeping shrub with hooked or straight prickles. Densely pubescent branches & inflorescence. Bipinnate pubescent prickly leaves to 200mm long, 8-18 pairs of pinnae to 65mm long with up to 30 pairs of leaflets. White to cream flowerheads to 12mm diameter in terminal panicles with bracts, calyx 2mm long. Glabrous flat pod.
